APPLE iMac – 4K 21.5″ (2020) – Intel® Core™ i3, 256 GB SSD
Open to all purchasers of Ecoscape UK composite products, we are running a photography competition.
Upload 3 images to showcase your Ecoscape composite project in its best light to be used in our 2021 Spring & Summer campaign.
To gain an understanding of which the materials are required our estimating team get involved in projects, ask questions and even get sent photographs of the area prior to installation. But it is very rare that we actually get to see
the finished product. We are confident that with the wealth of fantastic composite decking, cladding and fencing projects we have seen pass through our estimating teams that this year’s competition will be our best yet.
Judged by our full team, decicions will be made purely off the images provided.
The winner will be drawn Friday 18th December 2020
Entries can be made via the form below, via Instagram by tagging @ecoscapeuk and using the

3 PICTURES – Try to use 3 images for your submission. Ideal shots are taken from roughly a metre on the floor. When your camera sits lower than eye level, your photos will look more like those you see in magazines. For a strong composition, shoot straight onto an elevation of a deck, wall or building.
SET THE SCENE – Try and dress the area as it would be used and give a sense of purpose. Candid photos are a beautiful way to show lifestyle. Animals are welcome; we love a bit of character in photography feel free to show dogs, cats and any other friendly additions.
USE OF LIGHT – Contrary to belief using overcast weather is the best/most natural light. In these conditions you have the biggest chance that the pictures will come out naturally. It is a good light to photograph lifestyle images without any harsh shadows. Early morning or evening, when the sun is low in the sky can ask be a good time of day to take photos. Around an hour before sunset you can also get very beautiful, warm light.
AVOID FILTERS – Filters restrict the feel of the image and how it can be used. We’d prefer it if submissions can avoid the use of heavy filters.
SUBMISSIONS – Images should be submitted as jpgs. Each jpg should be a maximum of 300dpi and ideally less than 2MB in file size.
