For more information on how to submit and terms & conditions please find the link below.

3 PICTURES – Try to use 3 images for your submission. Ideal shots are taken from roughly a metre on the floor. When your camera sits lower than eye level, your photos will look more like those you see in magazines. For a strong composition, shoot straight onto an elevation of a deck, wall or building.

SET THE SCENE – Try and dress the area as it would be used and give a sense of purpose. Candid photos are a beautiful way to show lifestyle. Animals are welcome; we love a bit of character in photography feel free to show dogs, cats and any other friendly additions.

USE OF LIGHT – Contrary to belief using overcast weather is the best/most natural light. In these conditions you have the biggest chance that the pictures will come out naturally. It is a good light to photograph lifestyle images without any harsh shadows. Early morning or evening, when the sun is low in the sky can ask be a good time of day to take photos. Around an hour before sunset you can also get very beautiful, warm light.

AVOID FILTERS – Filters restrict the feel of the image and how it can be used. We’d prefer it if submissions can avoid the use of heavy filters.

SUBMISSIONS – Images should be submitted as jpgs. Each jpg should be a maximum of 300dpi and ideally less than 2MB in file size.
